New Version of OneDrive App for iOS Released The OneDrive app supports iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, requiring iOS 9 or later and is quite a big update, coming in around 215 MBs. Windows 8’s Metro UI must be catching on, because Awesome Tab itself “is inspired by design and functionality from a number of sources, Metro UI being just one”. But unlike Metro, Awesome Tab tiles “are also a lot more customizable”. Each tile allows either a website link or a Chrome app, but what defines it, is the ability to add custom widgets — which makes this extension more than just an add-on, it’s its own platform....

A press release by the company says that the tablet-smartphone hybrid will be part of the operator’s device lineup. The press release does not specify a release date. It only says that it will be available in the coming weeks. And it also has some good news for those wanting to match it to their clothes – a Titanium Gray and a Marble White version will both be available. T-Mobile users have another reason to be happy if they buy the Galaxy Note II – an exclusive racing game will be available on the devices, and three levels will be free....

First of all, I must say that this is not the 4G version that’s scheduled to be sold in the USA later this summer. It’s exactly the Galaxy S III you will be able to get in Europe, namely the 3G version. Still, it’s a great device, but buying it will mean you’ll have accept the lack of some features. Since it doesn’t have 4G LTE, it will connect only to AT&T’s HSPA+ network, while on T-Mobile you won’t get high-speed data connectivity (you’ll be able to make calls, though – which can’t be said about using it on Verizon and Sprint), as PC World reports....

When browsing the web, there are so many times that I find a useful web page which would be great to share with a friend. The only thing is that screen shot tools like SnagIt or Jing require me to go through a whole process of capturing, marking up, and then uploading. With Markup.io you just press a button, markup, and send your friend the link. It’s the simplest capture tool I’ve ever seen and it doesn’t even require you to install a browser extension, it runs on Java....

CVE-2016-2335 is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that exists in the way 7-Zip handles Universal Disk Format (UDF) files. CVE-2016-2334 is an exploitable heap overflow vulnerability that exists in the Archive::NHfs::CHandler::ExtractZlibFile method functionality of 7-Zip. Fortunately, the exploit has been fixed in the latest version of 7-Zip software, which at the time of this writing is version 16.0. To find out the version you have installed, launch the 7-Zip File Manager, and go to Help > About 7-Zip....

To get started, download Skype for your OS from the office website and run the installer. One thing to note is it asks you whether you want to install Skype Click to Call addon or not.
