It seems Google is adding features to their Online Google Apps service daily. Yesterday it was an improved Contact Selector Tool in GMAIL, and today it’s a new Translation feature for Google Docs. The blog post points out all you need to do is Click Tools, Translate document and choose from any of the 42 languages currently supported. Another nice feature is that you will not lose your formatting in the translated document....

Recently the Google Maps blog announced updates: walkways, bus stops, address labels, street width and even an improved font! Although some of the changes don’t exactly POP OUT, when combined, the changes are significant to the naked eye. Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) RDP is a proprietary protocol developed by Microsoft that allows you to access your PCs over the internet and has been around since XP Pro. For example, you might need to grab a file or do maintenance on a computer or server at work or home. There are several ways to access your computers from virtually anywhere remotely you have a network connection. Do note that you can remote into a Home version of Windows; however, you need Pro to remote to another PC....

However, if you want a more secure system, especially on shared PCs, one thing you can do is hide that data. Hiding that data makes it much harder for another person to gain access to your data. Currently, Windows 10 doesn’t have a way to do it in its native settings. But you can hide the data by using Group Policy in Windows 10 Pro or a registry hack in the Home version....

First, open the folder you want to pin to your Favorites menu in Windows 7. Right click on the Favorites menu and select Add Current Location to Favorites. Now, it will show the folder you selected in the Windows 7 Favorites menu. At any time if you want to remove the folder from favorites menu, simply right click on it and select Remove. This tip works in Windows 8 too....

The steps are super simple so you might have already figured it out especially if you’ve changed the color scheme in the past on office 2007. If not, here are the simple steps. Login to you Skype account, go to Tools » Options. Select IM & SMS from the sidebar. Now, click Show Advanced Options. Now just click the Clear History button, and select No History on the dropdown list. Keep in mind that this doesn’t clear history from Skype servers, just the IM history log it keeps on your local machine. You’ll need to adjust this setting on each machine you use Skype on too....

Once enabled, this feature clears itself every time you restart your PC, excluding any items you’ve pinned to your clipboard for regular access. New items overwrite older items as you copy them to your clipboard, but this could mean they take time to clear. If you’re in the habit of copying personal details (such as passwords or bank details) to your clipboard, you might be putting your data security at risk....

Click or tap a notification, and it will open the app to what the app is referring to. For example, Outlook will display new emails. Clicking it will launch Outlook and show the exact message. Or clicking a notification of an app that was installed opens it so you can start using it. Turn Windows 8 Notifications On of Off First, open PC Settings. You may set up several columns only to discover; they would be better suited as rows or vice versa. Just like the transpose feature in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets gives you the same option. Delay Windows 10 (Version 21H1) May 2021 Update To postpone the feature update for a few days, click the Start button and click on Settings. From there go to Update & Security > Windows Update. From there, click on the Pause Updates for 7 Days button. If you want to pause the update for a longer period of time, click on Advanced Options. On the following screen, scroll down to the “Pause updates” section and click the dropdown menu to select a date when you want the update to resume....
