Open Internet Explorer and click the Settings icon at the top-right. From the drop-down menu select Internet Options. Internet Options comes up. Click the General tab, then click the Settings button. Uncheck Show previews for individual tabs in the taskbar. Click OK to save changes. Exit and restart Internet Explorer to apply the settings. Presto! No more multi-tab previews. Instead, IE9 will only display a single preview for the tab you have open in IE9....

Beginning with Windows 10 Anniversary Update (version 1607), Microsoft Edge loads a welcome page the first time you launch it. The page shows you new features in the browser as well as tips on how to use it. Picture-in-Picture Mode Android Nougat added the split-screen ability for apps, but starting with Android 8.0 Oreo you can start using the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode on phones and tablets. With PiP you can work on a task on the main screen, and then have something else running, like a video, in a smaller floating screen off to the side. This experience works great for video and while it’s not supported by all apps, it does work with YouTube and VLC....

If you ask Google, the best thing about the new version is its speed. SunSpider benchmarks show a 305 percent improvement in JavaScript rendering time compared to the first version of Chrome. Here’s the chart below. Google Chrome 5 may be fast, but it’s some of the other new features that make it even much more appealing to try out. I think now with version 5 it’s finally ready to start competing with Firefox....

It appears that the credit for Hotel Tonight expires after the same day as its deal. Heck, it even has a voice-activated remote that you can use for search, just like the Fire TV. One thing that does differentiate Nexus Player from the Fire TV is you can play the games on your HDTV at home using the controller, and then keep playing the game where you left off on the go on your smartphone or tablet. I haven’t had a whole lot of time with using it yet, but thought I would at least give you my first impressions....

I noticed this today when I went to the store on my Android Smartphone. If you scroll down the store’s main screen, you’ll see a “Recommended for You” section. Tap on it and you’ll get you to a new screen that shows you recommendations for you based on previous downloads. The recommendations are made based on apps that are similar to what you have, apps you’re Google+ friends have +1’d and based on your geographical location....

Nexus 4 Phone First in the line-up is the Nexus 4 Android smartphone. This handset comes from collaboration with the hardware manufacturer LG, despite the fact that Google could have easily manufactured it through it’s self-owned manufacturer Motorola.
