Unlike with its Bundles and weekly sales the Humble Store does not allow you to customize where your money will go. Instead it goes into a pre-determined split giving the developer 75%, charity 10%, and the Humble Store itself takes a 15% cut. The Humble Tip remains the same at 15% as the Bundle’s default split has always suggested, but this structure denotes a 10% decrease in what portion is given to charity and will instead be going to the game developers compared to the default suggest split (65% to developers, 20% to charity, 15% Humble Tip).
So far the store is a big hit. Within its first 3 hours the store sold more than $270,000 worth of digital goods, which meant $27,000 for charity. The Humble Bundle declared in a recent blog post that the site has generated over $27 million for charity since its launch.
