According to a post on the Google Apps blog, new customers will be able to choose a single package, at a price of $50. This premium version, the one and only Google Apps for Businesses, will be for companies all sizes and will cost $50 per user, per year.

That gets you 25GB of email storage space, 24/7 phone support for anything you may need support on and an uptime of 99.9% (no downtime scheduled). The good news for existing users of the free version is that they won’t have to start paying. Only new users pay for the new pack. And Google Apps for Education will remain free. As expected, the post encourages individuals wanting to use Apps to sign up for a normal Google Account, which gives them easy access to all of the search engine giant’s services.
