Did we mention that Ron also has a famously irreverent sense of humor that drew a huge number of fans to his columns and features while he was executive editor of PC Computing magazine? His writing has been described as both “lucid” (The New York Times) and “outrageous” (his wife). Ron will also be contributing off-beat news and software reviews. He has studied criticism at the O’Neill Critics Institute and at the National Endowment of Humanities, where he is one of 12 fellows in criticism, he’s been writing reviews of everything from art, movies and books to computers and software for 30 years. “Of all the criticism I’ve written, none has been as exciting or as important as what I’m writing now about the computer world,” he said. “It’s an area that is creating fundamental changes in how we live, how we learn, and how we work. In the last 100 years, there has been no area of the intellect as important as today’s technology.” Not only a writer, Ron has won national awards for his publication designs, and he’ll be using that expertise to help make groovyPost.com both easier to navigate and more attractive. “GroovyPost has thousands of tips, how-tos, reviews, and some stories that are in a class of their own,” he said. “Our challenge is to make it easy for visitors to find the information they need and assimilate it quickly and easily. That’s what both good writing and good design are all about. “That, and having fun.” Make sure to welcome Ron aboard the groovy train. We’re very excited to have you aboard Ron!

I read your columns in PC Computing, I remember “Diary of a spam addict” among many others… I just wanted to show you my appreciation and respect for your great job. Comment Name * Email *
